I had not been receiving text notifications on my phone. I updated the profile to notify using SMS. Not sure why? Any insight? Thank you
Hi! I’m also a newbie, but I’ve noticed that SigningOrder is a bit different from Snapdocs. I receive fewer orders there, and it takes longer for them to start arriving. I think they use filters and it’s not as massive as Snapdocs. However, you will still receive orders via text message whenever they send them out.

Hope your biz is going well! I may have not been clear in my question - sorry. I am learning the process, and your guidance is clear. However, my question is that I am ‘not’ receiving order requests through my text messages. I see them come through on my signing order “job Board” only.

Good question. I was looking at my profile and made sure I have SMS as my preferred notification method. However, I absolutely get different orders on the job board vs text notifications. Some on the job board never get texted to me and some that are texted to me never end up on the job board when I check it a few minutes later. Sorry not much help but wondering as well what the difference is and how to receive all notifications within x mile radius on both.

I reached out to Signingorder helpdesk to ask them and they responded with: The Job Board works in conjunction with our texting feature. You will not receive a notification for every signing because jobs are posted automatically to the board as soon as the texting automator begins.
This system allows notaries who are already active on the platform such as those printing documents or downloading confirmations to view and reply to signings they might not have received a text for yet. Because text notifications are sent out in pages of 50 notaries, many assignments are filled before the system even reaches the second or third page of the list.
The Job Board is designed to give everyone the same advantage, whether your profile is at the top of the first page or at the bottom of the final page of the texting list."
note: the ‘List’ is active notaries on the site.

Thank you Nancy! I still wish I could get them all on my phone and the website but at least now we know why it is inconsistent between the 2!

The Job Board is different from the dashboard. They only send Text messages when absolutely nobody takes them.

They do both from my experience. But no one absolutely NO ONE goes to Moses Lake for $50. So they just want cheap in some cases.
