Nonpayment from Cloud Signings

Adding something on Notary Cafe seems to have gotten the attention I have not had. That is good. They responded by stating they pay at 60 days and not to contact the lender or violate the contract and the invoice will not be paid? Anyone else have that experience? I have NEVER had that kind of response from anyone, and I have been in the business since 1982. I will give them their 60 days.

Never have been threatened with non payment but I have also never believed you should contact a lender or title company to discuss payment issues. It’s a bad look.

Well, they seen my post on Notary Cafe and Immediately sent a text threatening me. They could have just answered my email from a while ago. Not a great look for them. They are concerned about me talking to the lender, whom I happen to have a VERY long closing history with. I am more concerned with being paid then if they like me or not. I will not work for them again. I was able to add a comment to their test and told them I would give them 60 but they should communicate better. Ignoring me is what started this, not me. All I want is to be paid for the work I do. I am no slug and been in the business for 44 yrs. Companies NEVER complain about my quality, and I do not work for free.

They went 96 days before paying me for one signing. And advertised another signing as a seller signing, waited until 90 mins before the signing to send me the docs and it was a 250+ page VA purchase! Called them back and said I wasn’t doing it for that price. They tell me they don’t pay that much for purchases. So I told them to find another notary. Last straw was when they sent me an insultingly low ($30) offer for a signing over an hour away. I replied with my price. They proceeded to send the same offer 13 times in a row over the course of an hour, resending the same lowball offer every time I replied that I wasn’t available. I blocked them from sending me any other orders. I would not do business for Cloud Signings again.
