What to do if a signing service told you your check was mailed and cashed and it wasn’t by you and want to charge you $15.00 to get a copy of the check and I keep asking who is your bank and not getting a response! When they can download for free and send it to you to prove to you that it was sent out! I’m going through this with Express Notary that owes me (2) payments totaling $175.00. To me it seems like they would try to help solve the issue to who stole my check to prove to me that one was ever sent out. I was very reluctant to take their signing because of (3) stars that posted on notaryrotary.com! Notaries BEWARE
That’s horrible about your check. In fact, that is identity theft right there because if what the SS says is true, someone stole your check and cashed it under your name.
To charge you to get a copy of the check is ridiculous because, besides you, they have been a victim of fraud but seem to not be taking appropriate action. That right there is a BIG red flag.
They need to issue you another check. If I were you, I would pursue that and never do another job for them. In fact

Are Express Notary and Express Notary Service the same company? Both are 3 stars on NR and out of California. I did a signing for Express Notary Service and got paid a fair fee within 30 days. I hope you were able to get paid.
