As to #5 quoted above - they are not a hiring service or platform - they are a listing site only

As I previously stated, the list was AI generated from this forum. I will create a new search to clarify for the error.

I found several postings about 123 Notary on the Notary Cafe forum. Here are some key points from the discussions:

Still has nothing to do with giving assignments and acting as a platform. They are merely a listing spot where companies find you.

The complaints you see here are complaints about people who have paid for a listing \and it did not show up. Hence the money owed…to reimburse them for mismanaged database.

I requested AI to identify complaints about notary services. These services were included in the list because, like all other notary services mentioned, they act as brokers rather than title companies. They collaborate with banks and mortgage companies, serving as intermediaries between notaries and title companies. This is why they were included in the list.

If you’re looking to warn other notaries of non-payers, we appreciate that and it’s a very handy reminder. But I’d suggest, if I may, refining your AI search to weed out ā€œhiring partiesā€ from ā€œlisting sitesā€.

This just proves to me that AI is not all that and a slice of bread.

JMHO and, again, thank you for your warning.

I will stick with the AI’s output. 1 out of 20 isn’t bad.

Never sign with a company that wants to charge YOU…AND take a portion of your signing fee.

People, we MUST stand firm on our fees!

Ive done quite a bit for Notarize 24/7. They do pay Late you have TO Stay on top of them. But I have never been stiffed by them. C2C does pay on 30 days but they pay,ASAP Pro has always paid they pay 30 to 45 days, Expert Notary you have to saty on top of but they pay. You just have to be dilgent about when you expect to be paid and stay on them. I know its not right these companies that dont pay should be reported to the title companies.

Never had a late pay for Notary 24/7. Their terms indicate the first time you work for them they pay at the END of the following month. After that they pay twice a month. There is more than one agency on signingorder.com that does it like that. If you’re brand new - you need to keep in mind, late to some isn’t actually late at all. JS.

ASAP Notary Pro pays, I’ve never had an issue.

I haven’t either. ASAP is another one that the first payment takes longer than any future payment.

I want to share my experience with Notary 24/7. I completed a closing for them in November, and when I followed up regarding payment, I received not only my November payment but also a delinquent payment from January 2024. 10 months after the fact… I guess it’s not so far-fetched.

For those who have never been affected by the listed notary companies, I’m glad you managed to avoid the dragon.

More importantly, this list was created for those seeking quick answers, whether positive or negative.

I have done quite a few for Expert Notary Signers. While yes, they usually do pay me late, all i have to do is leave a note on the order. I usually have a check in just a few minutes to an hour.

Thanks for posting this! I have a running list on my Notes app in my phone and I always check it when a snapdocs signing comes in. This helped me update my list. This is helpful.

Thank you for your participation. This will help someone.

I’ve gone down the list here and remember starting out with a few of these companies.

When I first started out five-years ago, I noticed the timing factor in loan signings and such. Trump took office, interest rates went down and BOOM, refinancing was the biggest news in this country. LSAs were in hot demand and the companies listed above were not playing games then. What they’re doing now is ā€œassembling the musiciansā€ right now but that turns out to be costly when past sins in business are remembered by those whom have been asked to perform services.

The problem here is the differences in working DIRECTLY with lawyers, banks, title companies, real estate agencies et. cetera and signing services. These signing agencies need us! You’d imagine there would be more loyalty involved but these signing services actually burn bridges between loan signing agents doing the unspeakable…NOT PAYING.

People, the power is within your hands. You are not to be subjected to faulty/questionable business arrangements. We all know they take part of our hard earned money as ā€œfeesā€ for merely mentioning or directing our services to those in need. They are actually a disservice when you think about it; late payments, no responses after signings, arguing about OUR EXPENSES claiming ā€œit’s not far from your houseā€ or ā€œyour demands for payment are not acceptable or professional.ā€ I’ve heard it all. Their ā€œcutā€ is the only reason they stay in business. They offer NO SERVICE only picking up the phone acting as the ā€˜middlemen’ between us and the clients that really need to be helped. I’ve often questioned how the real estate or title companies SAVE when dealing with signing services when they can call us DIRECTLY without having to be served on a ā€œfeeā€ basis. Loan signings should only take place between the borrower and attorney. Not the borrower, attorney, signing services company and NSAs. That’s the problem!

If any of these guys ever complain about your fees THEY OWE YOU, remind them of this;

Paper costs money.
Electricity costs money.
Gas costs money.
Insurance costs money.
My wasted time costs money.
Non or late payments costs ME money.

I know that was a whole bunch of words but I’m here for all of you. Many of you here have been in this game for 15-years and counting. My experiences over the past five have been stellar with the customers I sit across from, but the signing services, :expressionless:
