I’m new to Notary Cafe. Am I understanding this correctly, in order for your profile to be public you have to pay otherwise your profile is only viewable by those who are looking for you? Am I understanding that correctly? Or no?
In a way yes, you are correct.
Basic listing (free) you are visible to those companies who use this platform to find a notary
If you want to expand that to everyone you need a Pro listing (paid). Depending on your market, it’s well worth the investment as you’re more visible and can expand your zip code visibility. And if you think about it, at $36/year it’s one of the cheapest directories around - and is a cost you can recoup with one general notary assignment. The cost is also tax deductible as a business advertising expense.
No I do not work for Notary Cafe.

Thank you so much for replying back. I really appreciate your time. I just didn’t know if it was worth it, meaning the services-if businesses use this platform to search for notaries.

I’ve been a Notary Café Professional member from the onset of my services within this Business Sector. I value my membership here for a variety of reasons. Regularly, clients new to me say they found me on Notary Café, which as a business owner is very helpful information.
Although, it’s important to keep in mind that most clients don’t lead their conversation with how they located you as that’s not germane to the objective of their call.
So, in order to know where your business leads are originating from, the onus is upon you to include in your questions to new clients: “Oh, how did you locate/find my services please?”
This will help you know where your marketing budget is supporting your business and where it is lackluster . . .

P.S. It’s very helpful (and you’ll access the answer to your query much quicker) if you execute a Search on the Notary Café forum database of threads (upper right ribbon bar - Magnifying Glass) => to the right of the SUPPORT tab . Please reference image below as most say that the Magnifying Glass is nearly impossible to find on the page. You can search the database to locate the commonly asked questions as well as a plethora of additional information that will be of great assistance.

Thank you for reply. Yes, I’m aware about the “Search” engine. I had my own reason behind posting my comment as it makes it easier to get answers.
Several of my regular clients have found me on Notary Cafe. It’s worth the relatively small investment.
