🥰 Official ADOBE New Build url link for: "Unable to print a PDF with mixed pages in Acrobat on Windows"

TO ALL NOTARY CAFÉ MEMBERS:

This is the initial response DIRECTLY from Adobe regarding their Reader software application (affecting all versions). It has a GLITCH preventing the Print Function for mixed size pages within a PDF file.

Adobe issued a New Build to correct the GLITCH.

.

Here is the direct Adobe New Build url link (:tada: Thank You :tada: yolicue):

https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/desktop/troubleshoot/print-scan-issues/unable-to-print-a-pdf-with-mixed-pages.html

The following is a screenshot of the New Build choice selections:

I’ve just performed the following:

  • Downloaded it
  • Installed it
  • Tested it via multiple PDF files with mixed page sizes

RESULTS: No printing difficulties whatsoever.

.

.

IMPORTANT NOTE ===>>> After the New Build is installed, there is a new Version number displayed.

So, just to verify the New Build is in-place, make a note of your current Version prior to installation of the New Build.

Once the installation is complete, check the current Version (it should be different).

Why use adobe when it is broken? there are plenty of free pdf readers online they work with the settings you defined on your browser and your printer settings. the readers are free but the ones with pdf editing require a fee, I downloaded foxit and printed 100 page dual tray package with no adjustments, You can have more than one reader just set the one ypu want as default to open pdfs

Did you check if you have 32 bit or 64 bit?

I spent one hour yesterday and hour the day before lady said adobe is fine must be printer, this printer has been great up until there wonderful update.

Yes mine is 64 bit it wont read the pdf file. Lost $ 300 thi morning

And what do you do about scan back I dont want some jerry rig I want it to work before they decided to upgrade

I didn’t lose any orders because I didn’t care printing page by page, which is how I got around the problem. Lots of people didn’t want to do that and I just did it because that was the only way I could get things to print.

That’s fine if you have the time (and patience) to print one page at a time. It would not be much fun printing a 200 page package that way. It’s a good reason, though, not to wait until the last minute to print documents. You just never know when you’re going to encounter problems that prevent you from “printing and running”.

I’ve missed the cafe and I’m seeing this and thinking…problem solved! Thanks!

I did a 26 page package and a 123 page package.

And didn’t whine. I have never been a print and run notary. I always print the day before. The same day that I did was 26 pages. I didn’t die.

I don’t do many 200 page packages these days.

I don’t do “print and run” much either. I actually seldom take “last-minute” signings. They usually turn out to be the most error-prone ones, because the “rushing” usually starts before we ever see the documents.

Snapdocs has a link to adobe update now.

Thank you. This has been a week…

Thanks. Is there a free “Foxit”? I could only find the paid versions.
