Ok lets talk about my image how I need a Louis Viton notary bag- I'm joking , lets actually talk about both my rotor cuffs and how I must look like a nightmare lugging 3 over the shoulder bags to and from my car to their door

I have the Epson ES-300w. I absolutely love it. At first I bought it for my home office but then added a second one for my car. It is wireless or uses a cable. At home I use it wireless, but at the table I just plug it into my laptop. Resolution from 300 - to 1200 dpi. Has a built in battery, so at the signing table all the cables I need are from it to my laptop. Lightweight. Folds up nicely. It says it will take up to 25 pages at a time. It has a selection for “add more pages”, so when the first bundle of documents are done, I simply add to it and select “ADD” and it will continue to scan to the same pdf. It was around $300 something four years ago. I’ve used it so much I’ve had to replace the rollers, but it’s easy and they are not too expensive.

I don’t bring a laptop with me, can it be attached to a Smartphone? I’m intrigued.

I don’t use hardware. I use Adobe Scan on iPhone. If you have a good surface and take your time it creates a nice pdf.

That’s great that you can do that. There are some signings that I’m ready to get out of there right after the docs are signed and reviewed, so I will scan from my car. Driving back to my home office and then going back out to drop was a killer!
My husband is a notary too and he goes with me on some signings. This one lady’s dog was full on humpin’ my husband’s leg and he could NOT shake this dog off. :joy: He was like, “omg, I didn’t think you’d ever finish that signing!”

Definitely over packing. No need for all those stamps. I carry 3 or 4 of each color pen. 1 journal. Inkless thumb print pad. Laptop? Are you printing in your car also?

This may seem off the wall, but the following link is for a rolling craft storage tote. I have one and it’s great for working on the go. I mainly use it for my other professions, i.e. audits, inspections, merchandising, and so on, but it does the trick. Keeps everything organized, fits my entire mobile office supply (maybe not the sink though), and my favorite part, when I’m finally making it out the door, it’s ready to roll. Literally.
Maybe not what you’re looking for, but thought it could be a helpful suggestion if anything.

I am rural , so going back home to get something for an assignment could take half a day . So I carry everything a with me . I carry one rectangle stamp , one round as far as notary goes but I have 10 additional in a small briefcase . I found the perfect rolling briefcase on amazon/

Why can’t you just drive up the gravel driveway and park closer? I understand how some homes have long driveways. They are not going anywhere so if I block one of their cars, they can wait until the signing is over.
