the first is for a claim signing - $30 w/in next 7 days I said yes…am i lowballing myself…next is below…for a refi this seems very low - welcome your thoughts

That’s how I started… yes! Is a low ball, but take it so you can see what it looks like. Please note that I’m not suggesting to take all $30 ! Just your first experience and to start your feet wet. Take into consideration how far is it… no more than 1-3 miles

How far away it is from you? If your in the same city, I would counter offer to at least $50. I take loan modifications for $115, but I will take them for $80 if in my city (I live in CA). They typically accept my offer when I ask for more. especially c2c. $50 is still low balling yourself but at least its better than $30

I got several of these from Coast2Coast, but nothing ever came of them. I thought it was a scam.

I am in the same situation as well. I hit accept on all C2C within seconds but I was never assigned to any.

THEY TAKE ABOUT 15 MINUTES I GET $100. FROM fIRST aMERICAN
I wont take them fromc2c at 30.
if its a few minutes away fine for your first couple of jobs but dont go more then that
it becomes unprofitable

@cynthialwallace I don’t know how to properly place a value on Experience and Knowledge, you’ll absolutely need both to succeed in our industry.
This statement won’t be popular, but it still remains True
This is the only industry ( I know ) where a person with Zero to 2 years experience expects or desires to make the same money as someone with 5, 10, 15 or 20 years experience. Think of it as you would outside of this industry, you have all the experience and knowledge and the new person doesn’t. Yet they desire to make the same amount of money as you.
I get it, we were all new to this industry at one time. There were many seasoned and experienced NSA that help me many years ago when I came into the industry, and that’s why I’m passionate about seeing others succeed in our industry
So Cynthia, it’s bigger than the $30.00… it’s the Experience you’ll gain, it the Knowledge you’ll have as a result of doing the signing so you’re able to command with confidence a fee you feel is in par with the type of service you’ll bring to the table.

yes that is considered a low ball, but accept all of yours for $30.00, but it’s good to get your first experience
