Retrieve Documents from FedEx

I completed a signing last night, emailed the docs to the title company, and received an email from them stating “Thank You.” - this morning I drop the docs off with FedEx.

Later this morning, I receive an email request from the title company to go “retrieve” the documents from FedEx and they will pay “extra”.

Has anyone ever had this request? What is a standard fee that is associated with this?

You’re just getting the package back that you dropped off? I’d say time and mileage. But what are you supposed to do with them? Sounds like they found an error?

I didn’t know you could ‘take back’ a package from FedEx. It is illegal to do so with USPS!
