This company is a SCAM. Be aware!!! I have been waiting on payment since June 2026. I have been communicating with this company since June to date, Oct 1st. I have been given the Run Around over and over about why payment has not been made. First I was told they take 3 months to pay, then that the owner is out of the country, then that they started a new billing system and then that I had not filled out the proper documents for payment, which YES I absolutely did. It’s been one thing after another. Not to mention they require you to log into a portal when you leave your home to the signing. Sign in again once you arrive, call them on a zoom to go over the documents before you leave, clock out once you finish and then do some other BS to complete the assignment. It was absolutely ridiculous and much more time consuming than the measly fee that Im fighting for after driving an hour away to help them because no one else would take it. NOW I know why!!! They have people from another country handling these signings for them. Clearly paying them very low fees and difficult to even understand. Which is another hurdle. Please pass this on to other notaries. The Best Notary - NOT!!! More like The WORST Notary!!!
@lgomeznotary Sorry to read about the Non-Payment difficulties with this particular business entity. Also,
Thank You
for sharing the direct experience you had with them.
It’s truly unfortunate that the Non-Payment history for this business dates back (within the Notary Cafe database) as far as July of 2017.
As I often express on the Notary Cafe forum, it’s uber-critical to your Success as a business owner to Research & vet potential new clients PRIOR TO performing any professional services for them.
As you’re a longtime Notary Cafe member, I’m relatively certain that you’re already cognizant of the Priceless Search Function to access the Notary Cafe database where this information can be located.
FYI: Most members express that they find it difficult/NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE to locate the Search Function in order to access the wealth of information available within the database that has been generously contributed by your sagacious fellow business owners over the years . . .
To be helpful, I’ve inserted an image for you & others [see below] to help members locate it to unlock the wisdom & knowledge of other members on the forums.
I’ve already performed a cursory Search on your behalf. Here is a listing of those Results that date back to July 2017.
Taking the time & effort
to Review this listing will specifically demonstrate the methodologies utilized to achieve successful Collection for the Non-Paid invoice(s).

I’ve been paid promptly by them because they realize that I’m actually the best notary and I’ll complain all over cyberspace if they burn me. I really don’t like the fact that they are playing in my sandbox, aka general notary work. Charging $150 to a client and paying me $50 (what I would have charged had the client called me first) seems unnecessary, but hey, charging $350 for a loan signing and paying the worker/notary $75 seems even worse.
Call the title company. If they refuse to get involved then file a complaint with the department of insurance in the state where the title insurance company is licensed. I’ve written several posts in Notary Cafe about TC’s & their ethical obligations & their responsibilities for the vendors they hire. Ethics is a major part of a producer’s license across all categories.
Thank you for your feedback. That is my next step is to let them know that I will be blasting them on social media so they do not get other notaries to go through the same BS!
Best notary isn’t a signing service.
Then what are they if they’re not a middleman (i.e. SS) hiring notaries to collect signatures - whether notarized or not - for any type of document …?
Yes, both are middlemen; however, the signers don’t hire the signing services. The signers do hire Best, and they hire the notary.
And that’s exactly the point. The Uber concept has affected all digital companies, it’s simply absurd. They are creating large conglomerates at the expense and risk of others. Totally BS!!!
