I have done about 6-8 jobs for them. They paid me within 2-3 business days IF you send a photo of the acknowledgement form for their work. I have learned to ask questions about the orders as they most often say âonly 1 notary stampâ when it is something that requires witnesses or it is in a hospital/ nursing home, which requires more time navigating the spaces. After accepting orders and talking to clients, I often ask for more money if it is more involved than they told me initially.
Iâm sorry you are dealing with non payment. The one time they were late paying, I contacted them and they said they hadnât recieved the gen acknowledgment. Once I sent it- again- they paid.
Sorry, I donât understand. What is âthe acknowledgement form for their workâ?
It is simply a page that is titled : Signersâs Acknowledgement Statement, right underneath, it states what the signers sis ackowledging. Right below that, it has a place for the signers full name, signature, address. On the right side it has in a box for the notaries full name, signature, commission #, expiration date, stamp. On the bottom it has an empty box where you put the signers id card & take a picture of it all & send it to them.
There are no other documents attached to see.
I received this today, tell me what you think please.
I received a text message from(Carmela) Finest Notary services #307-200-4119, today about getting a Codicil to a last will testament w/ picture id, done for a woman client, but the cell # that was on the directions from the notary company was a young maleâs cell number. I called it, so I could push back the time to meet 1 hour later than they scheduled for. The cell number wanted me to leave a message & I did not because I felt weird hearing a young male voice & not a womans voice. It gave me a red flag, knowing it was for a Codicil to a last will testament.
So I proceeded to call the finest notary services (no answer) so I emailed them. All of a sudden I get a text message from Carmela again. Telling me they wonât do 5pm & proceeded to ask me if I got ahold of the client. I had went back/forth with her reiterating that I just gave you that information of not leaving a message or speaking w/ the client. I also noticed her english is a bit choppy during texting, not like unilingual English speakers. I did ask her if she spoke english very well or if she is just playing around, thinking she may be a scam. I did tell her I do not feel comfortable helping her any longer w/ this client & to go to notary dash if she absolutely needs it today.
After doing some research on the phone # from this notary svc show it is associated w/ a scam.
Any advice for the future with this notary company is much appreciated. Yes, I have read the feed about them & am currently glad I stopped working w/ them. Thank you all for reading & your help.
Then I received a call & a text again after 2 hours of telling them, NO Thank you, asking if I would confirm to work with them & the client. Really fishy.
Never had an issue with FMN, in fact they pay faster than anyone else I work with. They want a picture sent to prove the assignment was completed and they immediately pay the notary. Is my experience. 307 is Wyoming, contract schedulers can be anywhere. As for a man on a voice mail - if itâs a last will and testament, maybe the signer doesnât have a cell and doesnât set up their own appointments and itâs a relative. No red flag to me. English a bit choppy could have been AI.
