Snap Doc,s Assignment,s

I signed up with Snap Docs. Everytime I get a possible assignment I reply within seconds. I immediately get a reply it was assigned to another notary. Is there some type of app that allows others to get the assignment? This has happened over twenty times

The text from snap docs may take longer to get to your phone than others depending on your phone company. I experience the same situation as you. I do believe regardless of who responds first, the signing company can still choose who they want for the job.

Here is information from the SnapDocs website:

Notaries are ranked - While you may have encountered other systems, Snapdocs’ notification system is more sophisticated. We use an algorithm to rank notaries based on a variety of factors, like quality of work, profile completeness, and how frequently you’ve responded to a particular company’s offers. Learn how to boost your ranking.

Notifications are sent one at a time - Instead of “cattle calling” dozens of notaries at once like other systems, our system works down the list, contacting notaries one at a time. It’s beneficial to be ranked highly, as you’ll be one of the first notaries to have an opportunity to respond to the signing opportunity. While it’s still up to the company to choose who they assign, it certainly helps to be an early responder. When a notary responds as available, we stop sending more notifications. However, the company can always manually stop or resume sending notifications at any time.

I’m sorry, but I don’t trust SnapDocs. I doubt if I will ever get a signing from them.
I received one daily. Most are 50 to 95 miles away in another county and they want to pay from $30 to $100(there was the only one at the $100 level).
If you do accept they will come back “already filled”. Please tell me of any Notary that would drive 95 miles and take only $30.00.
I think they are “all hat and no cattle”.

No need to be sorry, if you don’t trust or like SnapDocs that’s your prerogative. Like anything else I’m sure it depends on your location and the number of other notaries in your area who are ranked higher than you on SnapDocs. I get quite a few signings every month through mainly 3 companies that use SnapDocs and I don’t accept any signing under $100. I don’t get every signing that I reply available to, but I do reply to every SnapDocs text (responding to every text helps to increase your rating, even if you reply unavailable). I do agree that notaries that accept low fees and / or drive a long distance aren’t smart, but also keep in mind that just because the signing was 95 miles away from you does not mean it was that far from the notary who was given the assignment.
SnapDocs is just like everything else - it is a tool to help you get business, it is not a right or a guarantee that you will get business. You have to hustle every single day to make it in this business.

I agree with you on SnapDocs. I signed up with them and at first I thought why am I not getting any I respond to. I went and read what it takes to get signings with them and I did all the things they suggested an I found my ranking going up and finally companies gave me a chance. Once I started working for them and got to know them I have been busy from there on out. The only $30 ones I have seen posted are the DMV signings and I bid higher on those and if they want me fine, if not fine but NEVER have I accepted any signing that was $30. I find the ones offered here are within the 25 to 30 miles they figure on. I now have a great working relationship with most all of the companies that use SnapDocs and I enjoy using them for extra business.

My friend was having the same problem. Go into your profile and hit “update”. After she did that, she received an assignment the same day. Hope this helps.

I haven’t received A single assignment. Need to get assignments. I can work on Fridays saturdays and sundays. But never picked on snap docs or notary cafe.

I use Snapdocs as well and have not encountered a problem. When I think the price is too low I counter. If they assign to me great, if not I keep it moving. I think everyone has to realize that Snapdocs is a tool. There is not any guarantee that you will get signings. Companies use this tool to connect to notaries for signings. Ranking is very important and there are a number of variables involved in that ranking. If interested you can visit YouTube where Snapdocs has videos that discuss this exact topic “why am I not getting any signings.”

how often should you “update” your profile on snapdocs.com?

I personally only update my profile on SnapDocs when I need to update my credentials - ie renewed my notary commission, renewed my E&O etc. Other than that is up to you! If you have material changes then update your profile.
