What happens when you over stamp? I did my 2nd notarization and it over stamped the page …?
I crossed it out and then did a stamp below it.
Check your state’s requirements to learn if that is acceptable.
Otherwise, you can cross through, initial, and attach a loose certificate.

Never stamp over texts, lines on the paper, or anything printed. You did the correct thing, by crossing out the bad stamp, then place your initials next to it. Then restamp on a clear space on the same page.
The for added safety, include a loose acknowledgement behind that page.
