Hi.
For over a week now, almost daily I’ve received signings request from Snapdocs, SigningOrder and NotaryDash and its been exciting to receive, accept some but unfortunately turn others away. My question for you all is, when the SS or CC sends us these assignments that specifically asks, for example “Brian are you available”? If so press YES or NO. The second I scan thru to read it to make sure the contents line up, and I go to ACCEPT, it’s gone to someone else? Why even address the assignment to me if I don’t receive a couple minutesto review it.
I get that maybe this is how it’s done since I’m new in the industry but sheesh it caused me to miss an opportunity that was literally across the street from my neighborhood…LOL

This is how it’s done by most signing services. Get used to it. They blast it out to potentially dozens of signing agents all at once, and the first one who says “Yes” (at their fee) gets the assignment. You can counteroffer, but you will then only get the job if no one else takes it at the offered fee or a lower fee than you asked for.

I’ve gotten used to it happening several times this past week. For one that came in literally across the street, I was just surprised it was gone in an instant before I was able to read any content.
There is a certain pecking order that they use, where more experienced signing agents may get the notification before the newer signing agents. That would explain why the order was taken before you could get a chance to respond.
Could be, but I’m not sure they know that I’m new to the industry yet. If so, that’s fine as well. The best news of it is that, I will do an unofficial visit one day to introduce myself and leave a card since they’re literally across the street from my home offices.
