Signed a file on 10/2/19 I have requested payment several times and they do not respond. Anyone else with that issue?
Do a search in this forum for The Signing Agents and you will get plenty of information.
I would contact the escrow officer for the files you are not paid for. I guarantee the SS has been paid but doesn’t have the money to pay you because they’ve spent it already!
I must say I feel ill when I hear Notaries are being treated with such disrespect:(
You are a Notary, you are professional. You are authorized to perform certain legal formalities, especially to draw up or certify contracts, deeds, and other documents for use in other jurisdictions. Without your seal they don’t get paid, customers don’t get funded, etc… . Maybe try to stick with just working with Title Companies? Good luck to you.
