Is Townsgate Closings one in the same with Mortgage Connect?
Wow…after last 15-20 minutes of searching, still can’t draw any specific conclusions.. Both registered in Missouri, both have principal places of business in Moon Township, PA, both have same registered agent at same address. Both registered as both foreign and domestic entities. I’d say err on the side of caution and assume yes unless you can find definitive info otherwise.
Sorry I couldn’t be more help. Seems the weeds of signing services are getting thicker and thicker to see between.
@Notarynohio Excellent question!
Just wondering if by any chance were you able to locate the immediately available information found within the Notary Cafe database on your query?
This information is a TREASURE TROVE!
Most members express that they find it difficult/NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE to locate the Search Function in order to access the wealth of information available within the database that has been generously contributed by your sagacious fellow business owners over the years . . .
To be helpful, I’ve inserted an image for you & others [see below] to help members locate it to unlock the wisdom & knowledge of other members on the forums.

There is a post on this topic by longtime, well-respected Notary Cafe Member:
======
NOTE: There is data within the OnBoarding Package with Mortgage Connect that references Townsgate Closings as well as Inspire Closing Services.
Their mailing addresses are nearly identical; however, choose to make no presumptions.
===>>> As such, I’ve submitted a query on this topic to them. As soon as they Reply, I’ll provide the update.
======
SPECIAL NOTE: Accessing the database to locate information about potential clients has saved many of us an inordinate amount of time ‘chasing’ payments for Services professionally provided to potential non-payers . . .
.
I believe they are related. Their websites are the same. They’re payables is the same. Townsgate packages are huge.
Response from Mortgage Connect:
“Townsgate is a sister company of Mortgage Connect.”
NOTE: Awaiting a Reply on Inspire.
Response from Mortgage Connect:
“Inspire no longer has clients; however, our new second company is called Townsgate.”
.
Thank you for checking!
@Notarynohio You’re Welcome!

Just to recapitulate in one post . . .
My direct experience revealed there is data within the OnBoarding Package with Mortgage Connect that references Townsgate Closings as well as Inspire Closing Services So, I reached out directly to Mortgage Connect to further investigate your query.
.
After conferring with Mortgage Connect, they advised the following:
- “Townsgate is a sister company of Mortgage Connect.”
- “Inspire no longer has clients; however, our new second company is called Townsgate.”
.
They are connected. I prefer Townsgate though they offer higher rates though it’s the same platform.
@taradbroadway As previously identified as per Mortgage Connect directly in the above-noted post:
“Townsgate is a sister company of Mortgage Connect.”
.
You’re right about the huge packages.
Townsgate pays more than MC
@taradbroadway Agreed, they do.
In my direct experience the document packages are Extra-Extra-Large (approximately 250+ pages - could be a bit less or more), which accounts for the more reasonable (higher) Fee.
In general, it’s important to always do the math to ensure that it makes business sense to provide your professional services at the Fee being proffered.
.
NOTE: For those who are new to this business sector, I often express taking the time to Create your individualized Schedule of Fees to ensure your remuneration is in alignment with the professional services you provide & your direct out-of-pocket expenses.
