Unlimited Ink/ Notary Stars

Waring to all Singing agents, Unlimited Ink/Notary stars…STAY FAR AWAY….I just deleted my account after doing 45 signings for them, none of which was paid before 60 DAYS!!! If you get an order request from these people, dont walk away RUN, You have been warned….Below is my response to the email they sent after I dumped them like a bad first date…

“Your Account has been Deleted

Here was my response,

There are several reasons why I will no longer work with your company. Now before I share the negatives, I will say that I do appreciate and see value in all of the training material and the time spent on training for new notaries…

Now the reality of why I refuse to work with your company ever again.

1-Net 60 payments,

Unacceptable, and unsustainable!!! You would be well advised to start paying in a timely fashion, IE 7-14 days. I know for a fact that you get paid up front from the title co in most cases…I cannot afford to wait 60 days for a paycheck, not only is it greedy, but you’re building your business off of the backs of all SAs and forcing us to starve while you pay us in 2 months…You say that you are a company built by notaries for notaries, if that was the case then you would pay us in a timely fashion and quickly so we can go out and do more closings…

2-Greed,

The fees you offer are INSULTING to any signing agent with any type of experience.

For example, 75 for a refi???, 95 for reverse???, when you send these fees over you are not only insulting all of us but stating that you do not care about our time and our services, and showing us how greedy you really are…especially when we see a $300.00 or more fee on the settlement statement…

3-To complex-

When sending over an order once accepted you send out way too many emails, way too many phone calls with contradicting and conflicting information. Your back office speaks terrible English and I simply get stressed out when working with your team.

4-Travel distance to your clients for drop off-

I am a notary signing agent not a courier, I refuse to drop at title over an hour away from the closing location and my service area, you take a terrible paying offer and turn it into an all day adventure to drop at title, this shows us again that you simply do not care about our time, it cost money to drive 2 hours round trip to drop at title, takes time away from being able to close other deals, and to make anyone wait 60 days for payment is just WRONG!!!.

5-Your business model is simply unsustainable for anyone to succeed at..

I do not know where you guys went to business school, but as a business owner I have never heard, or been taught that prolonging payment to your contractors is a great way to do business…

I did’t know they were one and the same entity.

They pretty much ALL are.

They are not one and the same. Notary Stars is an incredible notary training organization and Unlimited Ink is the signing service.

I understand Notary Stars is awesome training. I took their training. However our colleague @whatsupholmes is asserting they are connected.

All I said is I wasn’t aware they were connected in different words. I personally haven’t researched it.

ETA-unlimited ink IS connected to Notary Stars by my research. I haven’t had any negative experiences with either entity , separate or whole.

Yes they are, do some research, notary stars and Unlimited ink are owned by the same people, regardless, they are not recommended if you want to be able to survive as an independent notary, unless you like giving away your services…

Of course, I know they’re owned by the same people, but they’re separate companies. They are managed by different people, if that matters. I did work for them when I first started, and I knew my payments would come around day 45 so I got used to it. I do know what you mean about the lengthy instructions. I’m now in my second term and I have yet to miss the Notary Stars Monday Night General Mentorship session.
