Recently, I didn’t receive two orders, and I found it quite strange
The first was offered for $10 under my normal fee, little distance, so I said 100 didn’t hear from them didn’t get the order then the order was offered the very next day the day of the appointment for 135 and I said available, again didn’t get the order (signing services of America) and I looked we worked together 2019-2022 a few times
A different company also through signingorder.com offered a job for 100. I said 125 then they offered it for 125. I said available I didn’t get it. (Premier)
I’m just curious why I would be passed when I’ve been in the field for over a decade.
I scratched my head on these, would you think it’s odd too?
I see that quite a bit….when I counteroffer and then I see the job reposted for the amount that I counteroffered. Then I “accept” the job at that fee and still don’t get it. It makes you wonder if they’re purposely punishing you for driving up the price.
the phone was in my hand for each of these, so it wasn’t my speed, my response was as fast as humanly possible, I know when its my speed at 14 years.
With premier it could have been saltiness about wanting more due to last minute and super cold day to a further location in rush hour. They seem to be biter because I usually want an extra few bucks for scans lol
I wondered if someone gave me bad PR and its costing me, which is super frustrating because there are always two sides to every story and if you make it 14 years in the business obviously you get the job done and do a lot of things right
But life goes on, I had 9 for today now it’s only 7 but still a full day with one set for tomorrow too, good luck everyone today. Fridays are usually bangers
Not necessarily that they were quicker. It seems like offers get to some cell phones before they get to others. What else can explain why you click “Accept” within a second of when the offer hits and it’s already gone? Some people have said that the phone carrier makes a difference, but I’m not sure that I buy that explanation. I recently switched from T-Mobile to Verizon and there doesn’t seem to be any difference at all. My personal belief is that whatever position your phone number is in the que for sending out the blast determines your priority ranking.
Not responding is of course a great way to not receive an order. The fact is we have about 6 seconds to either accept or counter offer. The speed orders are assigned is amazing. Maybe 11 seconds. But - if you are trying to check a location or a service - taking time to do that - the order is gone. That’s just the reality of these texted requests.
The only time that’s not the case is when an escrow officer wants YOU. I’m pleased to say that’s been the case several times so far in December. But open orders - someone here called it a race to the bottom because there are folks taking anything at any fee.
You gotta re read my post. 12 hours went by and the same order was offered for 135. So it had nothing to do with seconds
I decided not to respond to an offer today since that company didn’t want to use me the other day plus with 7 confirmed and printed appts there wasn’t much room. I then watch it come across three times in one hour. I never clicked on it. Hey it made me laugh
I had this happen the other day. I said available and they kept reposting with a higher fee until it got to $175 for a seller. I wasn’t sure why I kept getting ignored. The next morning I woke up to an email with paperwork from the signing company saying to fill out Fidelity papers so they could send me that signing. Had they put that in the order we could have worked it out a day earlier. So it could be something like that!
@notary: I’ve considered doing just that – counter-offer with a fee a little lower than their offer – just for sh**s & giggles. Of course, if they accepted that lower fee, I’d have to be immediately “booked”.
