What is the Best Ron platform to use?

I received my Ron commission in March 24 but have not put it to use, what platform is best?

I also got commissioned in March 2024. I registered with cyberize it. Did not get a chance yet to actually work with it.

What is best for one RON is not best for another. Amy Seitz from CyberizeIt has written on this quite often. The one thing that is consistent is that you should have a following before signing up for a platform in order to pay for the platform fees.

NONE. Meaning = No Online Notaries Everyone!

You can sign up as an independent notary on Notarize, OneNotary, and DocVerify. DocVerify is more expensive than the other two and is not as easy to work with. I normally don’t recommend DocVerify as their support is only via email and their platform interface is not as good as the other two.

Notarize bills you once per month and is considered platinum level on signer identification verification. Also, if you live in Florida, Nevada, Texas, or Virginia, you can also get training to become one of their notaries to cover the clients that use them. You don’t get a lot of work in the beginning until you advance in your skills but they train you each level that you achieve. And, their support is the best I have encountered.

OneNotary can be more expensive than Notarize due to a once per month subscription but if you are just starting out, they offer limited free use per month. Once you achieve 100 of your own transactions, you can apply to handle their clients. Training and tech support is via email, the same as what you would get with DocVerify. I use it for credible witness closings that Virginia notaries can do.

I have been a RON notary since COVID and have totally transitioned my business over to RON so I can highly recommend it for anyone thinking of becoming a RON notary. The industry is heading in this direction and you can still do mobile notary work as your business grows in the use of RON.

I hope this helps.

Very helpful information!

How do you become on of the notaries that Notarizes uses? I live in Texas and I have completed their training. I thought the training was only to be able to use their platform. Do you have any more information?

You will want to contact Notarize at the same email address you were using for your training and apply as an On Demand Notary
