Sorry, I was responding to bhuiyanotary, who advertises different rates for different estate planning documents–will, poa, etc. I was asking how he can charge different rates for different documents. I’ve never heard of any state allowing that sort of thing. I guess some states just don’t have any laws about what you can charge. Even if they have no guidelines or restrictions, it just doesn’t seem ethical to me. How is a will more costly than another document that also requires witnesses? They should each require the same amount of attention from the notary.
When I see these posts and then I request to see the person profile on their platform, typically the first sentence clues me in on why they aren’t getting signings. If you want to message me a screenshot or link to your Snapdocs and signing order profile I can take a peek at it for you and give my 2c. Last time I did that for someone here, immediately after revising his profile he started getting orders.
I looked up the notaries in your zip code and there are hundreds within 25 miles or less.
Hello
Thanks for your offer of help, and I am really grateful.
My Snapdog Profile: https://notary.snapdocs.com/notary-public/california/los-angeles/nazrul-bhuiyan?source=edit_notary_profile
Additionally, I have registered to Zigsig / Signature Closers Network / Notary Dash / Notaryeveryday / Notaryresume (signing order) / Mavsign & cxchoice.
Some of them sometimes send me a text message with orders, and when I go to their link, it’s taken by somebody in a second.
Please give me some advice.
Regards/ Nazrul
Yes, that’s how it works most of the time. The quickest responder (who accepts the offer as is) gets the job. The fact is, though, that some notaries get the text blast sooner than others, giving them a distinct advantage. I’m not sure exactly how that works, or how you can move up in the pecking order, but just assume that it’s a fact that it works that way. It makes it very hard to counteroffer any text blast. The only way your counteroffer will be accepted is if no one accepts the original offer.
Thanks to you Notary Cafe for todays referral. A full fee VA purchase that was close to my office. My membership is now paid up for 5 years.
