As the title suggests, I am back doing signings after a 20-year layoff. I am an NNA-certified Signing Agent. Funny how much things have not changed, except for more e-signs. That said, back in the day, the ability to drum up business was a dozen doughnuts at your local escrow/title company. Not sure that is standard practice anymore, so I will ask you all in the trenches. So far, I’ve signed up with SnapDocs, CXChoice, SigningOrder, and CloseWise. SnapDocs has given me more business; however, I would like to know about other places to sign up.
I appreciate any/all guidance, and happy November!
Welcome, neighbor! (You’re in Folsom and I’m in Rocklin)
First, I would suggest you have a complete profile on each of your listings. A profile that tells the viewer why they should hire you over your competition.
Looking over your profile here, I see you’ve been in the lending side of this industry. Given that info, you probably have some direct contact already. Reach out to them and let them know of your new endeavor.
Not much has changed. This is still a cyclical industry. Currently, from what I’ve read in the forums, we seem to be in a downturn. The magic potion? Market, market, market.
