Care to give additional info? It helps if others can definitely identify the enterprise you’re talking about. Can you provide address, phone number, contact names, etc? What was the scope of your assignment? When was it performed? Have you been in touch with them regarding the matter and what was their response? Details count.

You know it was back in February and I have been reaching out since April being that their pay schedule was 45 days. It was just a print fee of $20, but it is the principal. I have been a SA since 2003 and I am really tired of the fact that we have no organization or association the regulate and protect us. Appraisals and Tile policies and fees have double, but Signing Serivces are still paying the lowest fees they can.

My thing is that we are Signing Agents with a Notary Commission ( needed in order to be a SA) The Signing Services are as new a profession as the Agents( created during the first real estate boom in early 2000’s) Title,escrow and lenders are all governed and overseen by Dept of Corporations (?). No. And they posted a job yesterday. I don’t know how to stop these scam signing services other than posting on all the Notary networks that they don’t pay. We really need protection from this type of issue. In over 22 yrs of doing this business I have never seen anyone willing to step up for Signing Agents. I’m about to start speaking out.

Did anyone happen to see the recent thread about a signing agency not paying the notary where the signing agency showed up to post additional details about the situation and mentioned libel? Just sayin’.

Dang! If they can’t pay a simple $20 print fee, makes one wonder (or not) how they’d handle a full signing triple-digit fee!!!

Could have been removed I’ll look again. That’s just it. The signing company refuted all the claims with their version of facts. Doctor House is right. I don’t believe absolutely everything posted.
