Cloud Signings Payment Issues

Back in March when I first began notarizing I took cloud signing orders up until June. Although I did read about other users experiences, the result were mixed on receiving, pending or not receiving payments. Once I did not get the March payment in June I decided to stop taking their orders. I now have a total of 7 orders that have not been paid although I have emailed invoices and sent a demand email including info@cloudsignings, support@cloudsignings, teamcloud@cloudsignings, support@venbooks and sduggal@cloudsignings. In addition, I left numerous voicemails for Shelly/sduggal with no returned calls. At this point, I am at a loss and looking for any new suggestions that may have worked for others. There has to be some way to hold them accountable for breaching their own contract. How can this be legal and they get away with it and are allowed to still contract notaries and be in business? This sounds like is should be some sort of class action lawsuit. Their contract “prevents” us as individuals from pursuing legal actions but what about as a whole? Frustrating to say the least!

Five best are probably regional. My favorites are First American, Stewart Title, WFG Title, Bancserv and Chicago Title. But if they pay on time and are supportive that’s what works for me.

I wouldn’t worry too much about their worthless contract. Take a look to see if the same lender / escrow / title (especially) is on the transactions you weren’t paid on. If so, yell like heck at them (courteously, of course, but loud, nevertheless) and request their assistance in getting paid. You’ve got nothing to lose. Then, if you have an address, send a certified letter - return receipt requested, demanding payment in five calendar days by cashier’s check. Send a copy to your Secretary of State and to the title company(ies). Send a copy to the Consumer Protection Offices, both state and federal with a brief letter explaining the circumstances. Keep copies of everything. Good luck!

@Mills123 :tulip: Thank You :tulip: for returning to the Notary Cafe forum & providing your direct experience of the successful procedure to fully receive the remuneration for the long overdue invoices.

===>>> Would you be able to take a moment & add the following term ‘WARNING:’ to the beginning of the Title of your thread please? :white_check_mark:

:swan:

I looked up my original post and did not find a way to edit.

@Mills123 Hmmm . . .

If you Left-Clicked on the Title at the very top of your thread & it didn’t provide you with an Edit/Pencil Option, just reach out to the Administration Team of Notary Cafe & ask them to Add the term at the beginning of the Title for you. :tada:

Navigate to the Top of the Notary Cafe page and Select the ‘Support’ tab:

Thanks @Bobby-CA. You are absolutely correct at this point I had nothing to lose! Today, I narrowed the companies down to Mortgage Connect, Mr. Cooper and Freedom Mortgage Corporation. I decided to send a follow up email to my original demand but this time I cc’d in every complaint, support and executive email address I could find for each lender involved.

In the most courteous but firm and direct way that I could, I made my intent clear in that my next action will involve all parties and gave them fair warning as well. The email was too long to add here but long story short, here is the snip it of the point I wanted to make

As a result of the lack of communication and resolution, I have included additional parties who may have an interest in resolving this matter swiftly. This could include any third parties involved in the contract with Cloud Signings LLC, as well as those who have directly benefited from the notarization services provided by me. While I hope it will not come to this, I want to make it clear that if the issue remains unresolved, I will be forced into further actions, including legal steps and collection procedures that will be necessary in order to be compensated.

I sent that email at 4:05pm EST and received a partial echeck payment at 8:24pm EST. It’s definitely not for the 7 outstanding payments they owe me BUT I am going to keep my foot on their necks until I get all of my money!

I hope this helps someone, I can definitely share if needed the emails addresses I found through the complaintboard.com and other resources for those specific lenders.

Cloud Signings has been blocked for me!!!
