California has the best weather in any state.
Hurricane Irma (2017) blasted Naples! I āhadā family there. Wiped out their beach house 3 months after closing. Not sure how often they get hit though!
Well, Iām not moving anytime soon. Iām gonna stay here in the fabulous weather and take all the jobs under $100 that our friend casts off and get rich

Any gulf storm will affect them - and storms coming across the Atlantic, unless they turn north and head up the east coast, inevitably end up skirting to the west and up, which means Naples gets it as does the entire lower end of the state. Those Gulf storms are beasts though - they hang out over the open warm water and churn and gain strength.
Weāre very lucky here - weāre in like a little bubble - just about everything goes right over us (thank you Lord).

You may be right, I guess I donāt know those high costs of living in California. After all, Iāve been living her longer than youāve been alive. So, why would I know that?

Well then Idk how you do it then, the average house in california is over a million dollars now.
So what? How I manage to live here is NYOB. But, hereās a tip. . . I take all the $75-$95 signings I can get and I do lots of GNW. I never wear a mask, I use premium gas, I donāt eat at Burger King and I find almost everything you say, amusing. I have it made in the shade

All Iām asking is what is it that makes living in california affordable to you?
Gee whiz. Did I ever say living in CA is āaffordableā??? I can afford it because I sold two companies a few years back for a nice profit. Iām semi-retired and I saved well, conserve regularly, have almost no debt and I try to eat right and exercise. My grandchildren adore me and my wife thinks Iām something special (when Iām not writing on this site 
).
Make no mistake, though, I HATE all the stuff I listed earlier about this state. It is not an affordable place to live and I would not recommend anyone move here. I stay here because my family is all here. Otherwise, Iām gone -------------> zip!
