Has anyone signed up with Loan Signing Solutions? They are requesting $50.00 for onboarding fees.
If so, have you been getting a lot of jobs? Want some feedback before I sign up. I’m in a rural area in Oklahoma.

Understanding the Business Model
Let me make sure I understand the arrangement. A signing service asks agents to pay a $50 onboarding fee to join its database. It also charges title companies and retains a percentage of the signing fee before paying the signing agent.
In practice, the process appears to work as follows:
Questions About the Value
What value does this arrangement provide to signing agents, and how does it differ from other signing services? Although the company handles the administrative work and agents need only accept and complete assignments, the model still seems questionable. Agents pay upfront onboarding fee based on the promise of getting higher-paying signing opportunities, while the company also earns money from title companies and retains part of each signing fee.
Conclusion
The arrangement reminds me of a Ponzi-style model, and I am not comfortable with it. For me, that makes this opportunity an easy pass.
Never pay for work its a scam.
Loan Signing Solutions appears to send out an attractive invite and wants to separate you from $50 of your hard earned money. Everyone is getting this invitation and my advice is to pass. The services that charge a fee to “join their team” simply take your money and you never hear from them again, ever. I was duped by a few of these scammers when I first started out and did NOT know Notary Cafe existed, so I didn’t check. Never got one order, never got anything for the fees I paid. Color me SUCKER. I’ve learned since then suggest you take my advice OR you can send me $50 ![]()
I actually got my money back when I raised complaints after a month.
They actually sent you your money back?? In the five years I’ve been on this site, I never heard about anyone getting their money back. I hope you took your returned money and had a couple of nice Cadillac margaritas to celebrate that small victory. ![]()
I spent years in vendor management. I do things a little different than a lot of notaries. Sometimes a whisper is far louder than a complaint. I used some phrases lawyers like to use. False advertising Fraudulent claims. The False Claim Act can be pretty powerful. Promising something for a fee and never delivering is not legal. You can get fined a bunch of money.
I used to collect gigantic unpaid balances from companies like K Mart and CVS. it’s a skill developed over many decades in business.
I like it. Good advice in your post, Johnson.
I would like to hear one signing agent say that they’ve gotten a lot of jobs from this type of arrangement. I haven’t heard one claim yet that supports it as a good idea.
Absolutely! Not one yet.
I have never paid anyone to get assignments..
Register with the large signing companies instead..every title company mortgage company. Real estate lawyers. Etc .
Good luck
They are a Scammy McScam. Don’t do it.
ev.fullerton Please send me the $50. You won’t get anything in return, but, I’m upfront about taking your money.
Try this: Hi LSS, I’ll pay your onboarding fee after I have onboarded $■■■.■■ of profitable business from you.
I would be cautious about paying the $50, especially being in a rural area. I would ask them how many active title and escrow companies they work with in your area and whether they can provide any realistic information about signing volume in rural Oklahoma.
I found a discussion from other notaries raising similar questions about the setup fee and whether the opportunity is worth the investment. Loan signing work can be inconsistent, and I personally would want to know what I’m getting in return before paying an upfront fee.
I would also confirm whether the fee is refundable and whether there are any recurring fees. Their website states that assignments are not guaranteed and that the onboarding fee is nonrefundable. Source: Loan Signing Solutions.
Hopefully, someone who is currently signed up with them can share their actual experience, particularly in Oklahoma. I would love to hear whether the $50 has translated into consistent, paid assignments.
