Package PDF printing

The companyies that scan doc packages for SAs need to scan pdfs to one of two sizes that I can print. Letter or legal. Not 13 inch or 16 inch sizes. As long as they have been sending PDFs they continue to mess up my printing by including odd non printable sizes in their packages. One page can freeze the printer. Hire a twelve year old to show them how it is done

:sparkles: Accurate! It would be very helpful if they did it that way! :sparkles:

NOTE TO ALL NOTARY CAFE MEMBERS:

Configure your Adobe Acrobat software as shown in the Print popup Menu as noted in the screenshot above. Please ensure special emphasis on the “Fit” Selection designated by the Golden Arrow.

===>>> For most PDF files, the Adobe Acrobat software will Select Tray 1 or Tray 2 when configured in this manner.

This configuration will access the Legal or Letter sizes that have previously been chosen in the Adobe Acrobat software platform when the printer setup was performed at the time of purchase.

Of course, you may encounter an anomaly from time-to-time with PDF files that don’t adhere to this configuration.

.

  • The screenshot above is from Adobe Acrobat Pro. I maintain an Annual Subscription, because of the myriad professional features available via that version. As such, your Print popup Menu may appear a bit differently than mine.

.

If you currently subscribe to Adobe Acrobat, but haven’t yet chosen the Pro version, reach out to the Customer Service center via phone. When you speak to the Representative, explain that you have a current version, would like to upgrade, & would be grateful for a discount. It will be well worth your time & effort to make the phone call!:money_bag:

Non printable sizes can always be printed you just lie to your printer and tell the printer that’s the size of paper in the tray.

Non issue.

@jnewberry When you reviewed your Print popup Menu - how did it look?

Was it similar to the image included above?

I hope you’re able to configure it so that you no longer experience the printer ‘freeze’ condition. :crossed_fingers:
