Has anyone had any success with the Stampspot platform? I am hesitant to sign up. Thanks for any input.

Spending you $$ on any third party platform or lead generator is wasteful. Been there (as a newbie) and done that.

I just got this email too. I haven’t signed up yet but when/if I do I’ll be doing the free trial. Research indicates that its a new platform so not a lot of data right now to support how strong it will be. I was able to determine its legit, and right now, its just another form to get leads.

I’ve just received my third email from stamp spot. It says their platform is free for notaries. I came on Notary CafĂ© to see if anyone is getting business from them, but I don’t see many replies indicating anyone’s gotten business from them

I do have an account with them (just checked). Never heard anything - no offers, nothing - from them. I don’t/didn’t pay anything to them. I don’t see where they charge to join.

They only need it if they’re sending you a 1099 at the end of the year.

Thanks for all the input. I will not be signing up with them. As with many of these ‘pay to play’ services, you pay, they play. It is so sad, and I wish these predators did not exist. Beware.

Once you pay, you’ll never hear from them again.

Came to add an update that I’ve seen one order come through since signing up. It was for $200 but it disappeared pretty quickly. Maybe they’re still gaining traction. TBD.

I signed up since they advertise “eliminating the middle-man”. It was free to sign up. Have not received any leads yet.

To date I’ve received 2 alerts from them. One it said another notary was assigned, the other I was out of town and couldn’t accept, and one I said available and never heard back, so I assume someone else got it. Still hard to tell at this point.
