I have a minor question about the Report and Certification of Loan Disbursement. This is the VA form where the borrower dates, veteran signs, and spouse signs if applicable. Does the non borrowering spouse sign this document since it has a place for spouse? Or because the spouse is not a borrower they can not sign?

If the spouse is non-borrowing, I don’t have them sign this form.

I don’t have the non-borrowing spouse sign it either UNLESS the Notary instructions specifically say too as I’ve seen it in there before.

On page 2 of the document it will have their demographics section. I only have the non borrowing spouse sign IF there are demographics listed for them. For example if the Male Female box of the non borrowing spouse is marked then I have them sign. If the male and female boxes are blank then I do not have them sign.
